This simple looking image has five letters scattered on a dark background and it is confusing thousands of people online. At the top it says can you find at least three words and below there are only five letters S, W, T, F, and I. At first glance it looks like random letters with no meaning, but if you look closer there are several real English words hidden inside.
The trick is that you can connect the letters in any direction to form a word. You do not have to read them from left to right like a normal sentence. Most people start trying to read S, W, T, F, I together and get stuck because it does not spell anything. The secret is to rearrange them and see what words you can build with just those five letters.
There are actually more than three words you can find. The most obvious one is SWIFT, which uses all five letters. Other easy ones are FIST, FITS, THIS, WITS, and SIFT. You can also find smaller words like SIT, FIT, WIT, IF, and IS. So once you see the pattern, it becomes much easier to spot multiple words.
How many words did you find on your first try? The challenge says at least three, but many people can find five or more if they focus for a minute. Share this puzzle with your friends and see who can find the most words hidden in this image.
